Input Fields and Their Purpose

The text box is for names. Write one name per line.

The dropdown menu lets you choose between pairs, groups of three, or groups of four.

The buttons run the tool, clear the data, or copy the results as needed.

Understanding the Output

The output is a numbered list of groups.

Each group shows names joined by a plus sign.

The tool also shows the total number of participants and groups created.

Limitations and Special Notes

You need at least two names to create groups.

The tool alerts you if you do not meet the minimum participant requirement.

If there are not enough names to fill a group, the tool adds the extra name to the last group or forms a smaller group.

Common Use Cases

This random pairing generator works well for class projects, team activities, and casual get-togethers.

You can also use it for group discussions in workshops or social events.
